Knotty Chair

Knotty Chair began as a rapid, full-scale prototyping experiment. Using materials found around the woodshop, the chair embraces its history by showing off every (resin-stabilized) crack, hole, and knot. The chair is adorned in polished steel and velvet to re-contextualize the reclaimed lumber as a material of beauty.
