Valet of The Radiance

Mahogany, 52”H x 22”W x 18”D.

A spa-side valet that confronts the symbolisms of old-world luxury through the physical textures of the decaying American West.
Hand-carved mahogany is brought to a pure blade finish: no sandpaper was used in the making of this towel rack. This treatment burnishes the wood, providing some natural water resistance underneath the oil wax finish. This piece also features turned finials and bent laminated legs. Steel hardware was hand-forged by Old West Iron in the mountains of Idaho.

Currently exhibiting in Taking The Waters at Placed Gallery (Livingston, MT).
