Spontaneous Lamps
The Spontaneous Lamp collection began as an exploration into lighting during my undergraduate thesis exhibition. Since 2022, I have continued to follow the thread of inspiration in lighting design and produced over 20 distinct lamp designs utilizing a variety of processes including CNC carving, lathe turning, and 3D printing. These methods are done in conjunction with traditional woodshop fabrication processes such as bandsaw cutting and routing.
Spontaneous Lamps have been featured in galleries and showrooms including Commonweal Gallery, Betsu Studio, & Son, Hot Bed Gallery, and Sweet Peel Vintage.
Need a new bulb? If your lamp uses a 1 inch bulb (such is in the design shown left), you can replace it with this Bulbrite G12 bulb. Unfortunately, the G9 bulbs originally used in these lamps appear to be discontinued.
