The bud vase series provides a provocative, yet refined presence to any home through hand-carved craftsmanship and carefully balanced form. Each vase in the series offers a unique silhouette for showcasing its contents, whether they be a seasonal floral display or a prize from a recent forage.

The series began as a process exploration during the Spring Residency at Anderson Rach Arts Center. By combining CNC profiles with laminated lathe turning, complex forms could be blended together to create designs that are both grounded and light.
